UKCroupier fun casinos are not suitable for children's parties. Although there is no law forbidding young people from attending fun casinos, UKCroupier does not encourage under age gambling.
It is the normal policy of UKCroupier not to allow people under the age of 18 to play at the gaming tables. However, should you book UKCroupier for your private party or wedding we will allow young people limited access to play at the tables providing they are strictly supervised at all times.
IS IT LEGAL? Yes ... providing you stick to the rules.
Events including Fun Casinos are covered under Section 15 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.
In layman's terms Section 15 states the following:
If you are charging people to attend the event, the casino must not be the only "inducement to attend", it must be combined with a dinner, a disco, a social etc.
All the proceeds raised, after deduction of expenses, must go towards your charity, church or social club, (and must not be used for private gain).
Your event will be illegal if you hold it open to the general public, ie by advertising it in the local paper or outside of your club's premises.
